Whose expertise gets to count in a school, and who decides?
Why the question matters
Every improvement effort assumes a source of knowledge. Naming that assumption out loud changes who is in the room.
What I currently think
Expertise is rarely denied outright. It is simply not scheduled — and an unscheduled voice is functionally an excluded one.
